No sign of snow, and even some sunshine and blue skies in the afternoon! And as always, good company.

26 March 2013 - Eastbourne
Looking at the somewhat uncertain weather forecast (!), we thought Eastbourne would be a good choice. If dry then a walk along the front and/or possibly along to Sovereign Harbour. If wet, then there’s the Redoubt Fortress and Military Museum, Lifeboat Museum and other interesting indoor venues. Bus times are:
Hastings to Eastbourne - 99 bus from:
Hastings Station Stop E at 10.09 a.m. (Havelock Road Stop G at 10.13 a.m.) which arrives in Eastbourne at 11.30 a.m.
Eastbourne to Hastings – 99 bus from Eastbourne Terminus Road Stop E at 2.43 p.m. which arrives at Hastings Station at 3.58 p.m.
Look forward to seeing you!

Lunch Alert! Rye - Tuesday 26th February
Provided the weather is good I think we should revert to our usual practice and take sandwiches, or buy same in Rye, as the spirit moves you. I did a recce today and eating as originally proposed will take too long. Id the weather is unfriendly, we’ll have to fly by the seat of our pants, but I suspect Chris and I may then be the only people affected!
