Camber Castle - July's Walk

These photos very much tell their own story of the weather, but we were lucky that we were able to have a dry early lunch in the bird hide.  We did think the storms were over when we started off again, but there were more rumbles of thunder, and more rain, but nothing unbearable- and thanks to Misayo's magic bag of tricks, even an umbrella was produced for the unprepared!

Camber Castle Walk–Tuesday 23rd July

A level route with easy access, starting from the historic town of Rye, crossing a nature reserve to a bird hide and Camber Castle.

344 leaves station at 9.45 – I expect people will join it on route, where most convenient.
