A Walk for March

On Tuesday, 25th March, Chris and Linda will conduct you around areas of St Leonards, finishing up for lunch at a Secret Garden
If you forget your sandwiches, there will be opportunities on the early part of the walk to buy something – Enjoy!
Meet at Debenhams at 10.45; there will be uphill walking.

Something a bit different!

The April walk – Tuesday 29th - will be a stroll around town, mostly in the Old Town, looking at (and photographing) some of the plaques, with a little dose on history included.  Ending up at the illustrious Pelham Crescent for a bit of lunch (free, gratis and for nothing!)

Tuesday 25th February

Despite extensive research I have failed to identify the other bus that passes near the Cemetery (neither Stagecoach online nor Tourist Information were much help) so I’m afraid it has to be the No.28, leaving from the station about five minutes before the hour, and from Queen’s Rd stop W (just down from Peacock’s) on the hour – if it is on time!

So we will aim for the 10.55 bus from the station – upstairs. If any Old Towners are running late, remember there is a bus stop in Castle Hill Road!

At the moment the forecast for the 25th says ‘partly cloudy’.

February Walk – head’s up

Tuesday 25th February - We have wracked our brains for somewhere that will be dry underfoot, so if the weather is fine, we propose a Cemetery Walk.  If the weather is dire, it won’t happen.

More details as to times, buses etc. later.

• March Walk – both Jill and I are away, so maybe someone else would like to suggest and lead a walk.

Reminder for tomorrow

Bus tomorrow 10.34 from Havelock Road; I shall probably go from the station, as I prefer to wait there rather than Havelock Road, but of course, if I am running late....

Weather forecast not good but yesterday my phone said it was going to snow.  Rain in the night, hail early this morning, but snow, no!  Now it tells me it is raining but the sky is blue and the sun is shining, so much for modern technology.
